Mold-Masters® Announces New Options for Hot Runners and a New Hot runner temperature Controller
Mold-Masters now offers it flagship Master-Series product line with options for base level applications to provide a more cost effective hot runner solution. At the upcoming PlastIndia show, Feb 4th-9th, 2009, customers will be able to see how to configure a hot runner which has the proven reliability, performance and support of Mold-Masters products and services at a more competitive price.
“It’s like shopping for a new car”, says Patrick Bennett, Executive VP, of Mold-Masters. “Buyers have a choice between full featured luxury models or more entry level base models. Both use the same core elements but allow users to choose the features that suit their needs.”
To compliment the new hot runner options, Mold-Masters will also introduce a new feature packed, compact and cost effective hot runner temperature controller. The TempMaster-Series™ XL-6 features the first temperature controller with six zones on a single card. Other temperature controllers limit the number of zones to one per card. This creates substantial space and cost saving benefits for the user.

This new capability is achieved while maintaining the high performance features and benefits of the popular XL line of temperature controllers shown below -

According to Mr. Fischer, hot runners today are used in about 50% of all molds and growing. “That means that there is a more and more diverse group of molders running hot runners than ever before”, says Fischer. “Not all of them are running technically demanding applications, yet, they need a hot runner and controller which has superior support, performance and reliability.
